We accept up to 175 students per grade level. Application Deadline is February 23, 2025, by 3:00 pm. Completed applications submitted after the deadline will be reviewed on a space-available basis.

Read the entire application to familiarize yourself with the programs, expectations, admission preferences, and suitability of the program.

NBECHS is a highly rigorous high school with college-level course expectations. Students who have been most successful at NBECHS are highly motivated and wish to be challenged every day. NBECHS does not discriminate applicants on the basis of disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic that is contained in the definition of hate crimes set forth in Section 422.55 of the Penal Code, including immigration status, or any other characteristic protected by law, or association with persons with any of these characteristics.

Please fill this out as truthfully and completely to the best of your knowledge. NBECHS wants to provide the best possible education for your child. Any information regarding any services or assessments your child has received or is currently receiving will help us in this process.

Complete the entire application. The applicant (not their parent, guardian, sibling, or friend) should write their answers on the student pages.

If a lottery becomes necessary due to over-enrollment of eligible candidates it will be held the first Friday on or after April 1st.
