Family Agreement

Thank you for considering NBECHS as your high school. Before completing this application, you should carefully consider the information below to determine if NBECHS is right for you. Please make special note of the expectations you will be held to as a member of the Bridge family as you complete the application if you are accepted at NBECHS. NBECHS is looking for students who have the following characteristics:

• Students who have consistently demonstrated mature, independent, and productive choices necessary to succeed in rigorous college and high school classes.
• Students with ability to encourage peers to make positive choices in and out of the classroom.
• Students with a desire for intellectual challenge and commitment to embrace education.
• Ability to thrive in a small, personalized educational environment.
• Desire to make a difference in their community and are prepared to engage in meaningful service activities (100 community service hours are required for graduation from NBECHS).
• Wish to become involved in clubs, sports, and academic competitions.
• Have good attendance. Good attendance is vital to your success in high school and college course work. No vacations or scheduled appointments should conflict with your college classes.
• Are aware that since NBECHS offers courses through both Moreno Valley College, Mt. San Jacinto College, and we are also part of the Nuview Union School District, the calendars of all these organizations may sometimes conflict. Families are encouraged to note potential differences in holiday and vacation schedules prior to committing to NBECHS.
